THURSDAY GROUP -

6.30 – 7.30pm last Thursday of the Month (Thu 26th September, 31st October, 28th November)

THE BOOKS:

On signing up you will receive a bundle of all the books we’ll be discussing this season. Our September book club pick is Long Island by Colm Toibin. The October and November picks will be wrapped as mystery books, for you to unwrap at the start of each month (or feel free to open them straight away if you can’t wait that long!)

P.S. You will notice that this October we have chosen a pair of books. The reason for this should be apparent when you unwrap them! You are free to read them in any order, however if you have encountered one of them before (perhaps like us, back in your hazy youth!) we suggest reading the contemporary one first and then revisiting the classic. If you haven’t read either book, you may prefer to read the classic text first. If you are short on time and can only fit in one, you will find that the contemporary novel is a fast-paced read that also stands up on its own!

You can sign up in any of our stores or online. If purchasing your book club pack online you can pick up your bundle at either of our stores (select free pick up at checkout) or have it delivered to you via Australia post.
