Author description

Lewis Carroll (1832-1898) was the pen name for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. A mathematics lecturer at Oxford, Dodgson enjoyed mathematical puzzles and jokes, several of which are included in his best-known works, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass."
